Installing WordPress (or importing an existing site)

What it is

WordPress is the most widely used tool for creating and managing a site without coding. From your panel, you can install it in one click, or import a WordPress site you already have elsewhere.

Installing a new WordPress (step by step)

1. Open the WordPress tab in the panel.
2. In the list of locations, click Install next to the domain or subdomain you want.
3. Wait: we install WordPress and create the database automatically.
4. Click Dashboard to log in to your new site.

Importing an existing site

Next to a location, the Import button offers 3 methods: migration wizard (recommended), upload a backup, or import from a URL. Follow the on-screen instructions; we take care of rewriting the addresses so the site works under your domain.

Frequently asked questions

My old site is very large. Prefer the migration wizard (All-in-One WP Migration plugin), which is more robust for large sites.
