Registering a domain name with 1SWISS1
Setup (step by step)
- From our website, search for the domain you want (e.g. mycompany.ch).
- If it's available, add it to the cart. If it's taken, try another extension.
- Fill in the holder contact details (these are required by the registries and must be accurate).
- Confirm and pay. The domain is active within a few minutes.
After registration
The domain appears under My Domains. There you can manage its DNS, enable automatic renewal and, depending on the extension, the holder's identity.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need hosting to have a domain? No, a domain can exist on its own. But for a website or emails, you'll need to link it to a hosting plan.
Are my details public? Some extensions display the holder in the "WHOIS" directory. A privacy option may be available depending on the extension.
