Transferring a domain to 1SWISS1
What it is
Transferring means moving the management of a domain you already own elsewhere to 1SWISS1, without changing the name or losing your site/emails.
Before you start
- The domain must be more than 60 days old and not expired.
- It must be unlocked at your current provider.
- Get the transfer code (also called EPP code / auth-code).
Setup (step by step)
- Start the transfer request from our website and enter the EPP code.
- You (or the domain contact) will receive a confirmation email to approve.
- The transfer usually completes within a few days.
Frequently asked questions
Will I lose my site or emails? No, if the DNS stays the same. As a precaution, copy your DNS records before the transfer.
